Is teeth whitening safe for the enamel? Yes and no! Let me explain the frequency, how often I whiten my teeth and toothpastes that can help strength enamel.

This is another famous question that people ask me all the time. My short answer is that YES, it is safe. I get my teeth professionally whitened at least once a year and I also use an at home system about once after two months.  If I do it, I must feel confident that it's safe right? I sure do.

I should add a side note - I DON'T recommend sleeping with at home teeth whitening trays in your mouth - no naps and no overnight use.  Simply because you would DEFINITLY swallow too much of the product.  Who wants to swallow peroxides? Nobody.
